Indoor soccer is a fast paced, high scoring, recreational activity that is fun for the players and it affords them the opportunity to keep their skills sharp and get some great exercise in the winter months. Parents/spectators also find it an exciting game to watch. The games are played indoors on synthetic turf, either on boarded or unboarded fields. The boarded fields are similar to a hockey rink, and the boards are used during play.

There are NO practice sessions for indoor soccer, and players usually arrive 10-15 minutes prior to game time ready for play. The time commitment to indoor soccer is approximately 1 hour each week. Games are usually on the same day every week, but the start times generally vary between the hours of 4 to 8PM. There are 10 games per session.

As our indoor program is not affiliated with BAYS, we get to play many towns from surrounding areas that are not part of our Fall or Spring programs - some have come from as far as RI to play at the Forekicks facility.

Additionally there are playoffs at the end of the session to determine the section champion in each age group and trophies are awarded to the finalists. Due to the competitive nature of indoor soccer, S.C. Norfolk gives preference to children who meet the following criteria:

  1. Played at least 2 years of indoor soccer with S.C. Norfolk.
  2. Played at least one season of travel soccer with S.C. Norfolk in the previous calendar year.
